Amanda Keating is a junior Physics and Astronomy major in the Honors College at Youngstown State University. “I’m originally from Grove City, Pennsylvania, but recently moved to Franklin, PA. I love tutoring because it feels like a simple way to help other people when they need it. I didn’t go into college intending to be a tutor because I was worried about it taking up a lot of time, but with how we run the Writing Center, I still have enough time to help tutor and get all of my schoolwork done. I’m glad I took the job back in spring of 2022; it has definitely been one of my favorite jobs I’ve had!” Amanda has also completed an extra peer education honors course with Writing Center Director Angela Messenger.
